What Is Emergency Access?

Sarop may provide the ability to display a user's emergency information via a QR code, a first-responder app or authorized tools. The purpose of this feature is to assist rescue and care teams in situations where the user is unable to provide their own vital information.

Displayable Information

Emergency information may include the following:

  • Name or emergency identifier
  • Blood type
  • Underlying conditions
  • Allergies
  • Important medications
  • Emergency contact
  • Important medical alerts

Authorized Use

Emergency access must only be used by authorized persons such as first responders, healthcare facilities, hospitals, clinics or qualified entities. Any unauthorized use, storage, disclosure or misuse of emergency information is prohibited and will be subject to follow-up.

User Control of Access

Within the app settings, the user can manage the level of information shown in emergency mode.
